What's next for Egypt?

As most of you probably know Egypt has broken out into a crisis. There is fighting and violence everywhere. In this article experts give their opinions on 3 of the most likely to happen scenarios.  The scenarios are; reconciliation, military rule, and civil war. In my opinion I think that there is a large possibility of civil war, due to the fact that compromise is rarely an option these days, and they will fight it till death. So my question for you is which scenario do you think will play out and why?http://http://www.npr.org/blogs/parallels/2013/08/18/212636039/whats-next-for-egypt-3-scenarios

  • I think a civil war will play out too. It's hard to imagine that they would sign a peace treaty, I don't think either side would give in. Hopefully they will solve it peacefully, but I just don't see that happening.

    • I agree completely! There is a very small possibility of signing a peace treaty

  • I think it's more likely to be military rule looking at other countries in the middle east

    • I  can see where you would think that but both sides are very passionate I suppose and I don't know if they will stop fighting

  • I agree with the guess of civil war unfortunately. With the way the government is handling the protests and the increase in violence over there I don't know how it isn't heading that way.

    • They aren't doing enough for themselves and I think they are relying on other countries for help.

  • I think it's a toss up between military rule and civil war. Or a mix of the two. Looking at the other countries and how they are reacting to similar uproars that's the best possibility.

    • Military rule I think is less of a possibility but I guess we'll find out
