What is one thing you know thats interesting about one of your family members?

My great grandpa was the first liscensed surgeon in Iowa. and he also personally knew and had flown with the man that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima.

my great grandpa was in the navy during world war two because he lost a poker bet playing with his friends. my great great uncle edwin markham was a famous poet from oregon. my aunt lives on a haunted lake in washington. and apparently i'm part shashone indian according to my grandpa william. oh and my aunt drowned in lake okoboji when she was twelve on vacation with her friends.

My great aunt Mildred Hedges is the ghost of Simpson College. She was my great grandpa Horace's sister. She fell over the railing of a set of stairs and died because it was such a long fall. I find it kinda strange and creepy! She supposedly haunts the college. And recently I had a new baby cousin who was born without in arm. He lives in North Carolina.

My grandma's brother (so my great uncle) is married to Kevin Bacon's 1st cousin! so I'm kind of related to Kevin Bacon (from Footlose) :]
and my mom has one arm, lostthe other in a car accident and my grandma survived breast cancer. My grandpa got hit by a semi truck about 30 years ago, and lived. He's still alive today too, he even suffered major inuries that altered his face and breathing habits.

my cousin was born with one eyes, webbed toes and fingers. he got surgery to seperate his fingers, but not his toes. he wasn't spose to live past two years-old. he's going to be twenty next month.

My great grandpa Beaucamp ( don't know if that's spelled right ) got second place in the first Daytona 500 race. Although my father argues that he should have gotten first.
