On April 17th a 16 year old black male went into westroads mall and shot and killed one man and shot and injured a women. Police eventually found him and arrested him. This individual was arrested on a murder warrent and they also arreated his buddy, which is an 18 year old black male and was charged with a felony. The second kid was not charged with murder because he had no weapon.
I think this showed a point because everyone is complaining about police and shootings. When this happened notice that the 16 year old was not shot and killed so this was a point that police try to make this less serious. When people are complaining about black lives matter and they think we need to defund police. Look what happens now. Also, look what happened when police showed up. They ended it peacefully.
When people are complaining then look what would happen if the police didn't show up, it would've ended up worse and more people could have been killed. Some of the people say cops are killing people for no reason so now this guy killed people for no reason and should be in jail for the rest of his life.

I feel like anybody who commits murder and kills somebody should get life in prision just because they took somebody elses life so they shouldt get to live theirs. I do feel like mall serurity is awful and with the amount of shootings that happen in malls you would think they wouldve done something about it by now. But considering they were both involved I think they should get the same sentences even though he didn't have a gun he couldve prevented his friend from shooting them.
If they were both involved in the shooting I think they should both face charges but if only one was Involved then he should fac life for what he did to the man and the women.Yes, I think westroads mall should have better security becuase they have had 2 shootings in the last year and both have been stoped by police. instead they should have armed guards .
I think that the kids should they both should be charged because they both did it, even though only the one shot somebody. Yes, I think that they should have more security in big places such as Westroaads, and they should have more cautions.
I think it is horrific how Westroads mall has had yet another shooting just 14 years after the original. I think that Westroads needs to have better security and that they should definitely be wary moving forward. As for the two kids who incited this shooting, I think they should be punished accordingly, but the government should try to stop gang violence in an actually beneficial way
I think it's bizarre to relate this to police brutality, an anecdotal case of a young black man not being shot by the police doesn't erase the decades of police brutality that have happened. I definitely think they should be arrested and put into prison for a long time, Westroads just needs to be shut down.
I think that they should be sentenced to some time in prision for what they did, because it is not right to just go out and shoot in the mall at innocent people who did not even do anything to you. I also think that westroads should get better security.
I think that it is only right that they both be sentenced for a long amount of time, even if the friend didn't have a weapon he was still associated with the shooting. I am unsure, but am guessing that there must have been something wrong with these kids for them to do this, that or a very evil motive. I definitely think that Westroads mall could have better security. How in the world does a 16 year old just get through the doors with a gun on him. They definitely could have done more to prevent this, such as metal detecter things at the front doors.
It is very unfortunate that this had to happen, especially in a mall by a few teenagers. The kid who killed someone needs to be charged with murder and put in jail. His friend also deserves time in prison. Even though the friend didn't have the gun, he was correlated with the kid who killed someone. Absolutely the security should be better in the Westroads Mall. There is no reason a 16-year-old kid is able to get a gun through a mall. I'm not sure how he managed to do this but our security better improve or this won't be the only shooting that happens at Westroads.
They should both be sentenced for a long time to prison. The shooter should probably be sentenced to more time, but the other guy deserves a punishment too. The security should definitely be better, this has happened before at this mall and it will most likely happen again unless they upgrade their security.
