The House has passed a bill that prohibits the use of welfare checks at strip clubs, casinos, and liquor stores.
This is probably one of the best bills they could pass. I wouldn't want taxes of harmless people going towards things such as these. Such waste in my opinion.

Yeah if I paid taxes are would want to know that my money wasn't going to a guy/girl who'll go and spend it at a casino or on booze. I think it's kind of sad that it took this long to pass this bill
It is not fair that working peoples' tax money goes to things like this. The people that use welfare money for those things need to get jobs!
I agree that this was a good bill to pass! Some people take too much advantage of the welfare programs. They should use the welfare for necessities such as food and clothing, not at places such as these. Tax dollars should be spent more wisely.
I think this is a good bill to pass so people can't take advantage of their welfare. It makes our taxes go to better uses.
I am glad they can't use welfare checks at these place. It's a really good idea because then we know that peoples money is going somewhere good not bad
