Memes and trendy sayings. They change constantly, but they are so funny and relatable! Such as the two newest ones like "Let’s Go Get This Bread" and " Weird Flex but Okay". Many older generations think these memes and saying are ridiculous and dumb, but the young people think these are saying and we use them for our slang terms. Most people don’t understand what they mean because we all have different interpretation. So, we are going to explain them. Let’s go get this bread means let’s go get these gains or grab the dub, and weird flex but okay means something weird someone says and you kind of just roll with it.

1)Why do you think these terms are so popular, and how do you use them?
I think its popular because of all the memes that can come out of them such as the picture above! I only use weird flex but okay because me and my friends say a lot of random and weird things to each other and we kinda just go with it.
2)If you were an older generation and your grand kid said this would you ask about it or just ignore, explain your answer.
I would most likely as cause I would be like what the heck did he say, but I would try to use it in context to be funny with my grandkids or just the younger generation in general!

It is so funny what people come up with! on social media is really where you see it most often! I think older generations don't really understand it because social media didn't really grow up with them as it did with us!
1.) I think these terms are popular because they can be so relatable and they describe how we feel. Sometimes it's hard to explain what you are feeling in plain english. 2.) I would ask them if I didn't understand so that I understood their generation.
I believe that we as the younger generation want to "flex" on the other older generations with stuff they wouldn't comprehend in return. We use them with our peers and at school and maybe a little in the outside world. I woudn't care since it is the younger generation and obviously you just wouldn't understand, and it will be cringy if I used it in front of them.
"Flex on the haters".. But I agree I know my grandma doesn't really understand it and saying because she ask what these things mean all the time! But I think during school use them more to show people that you know what you mean, but low key you dont.
I think that these terms are so polular because they can have differnet interpretations and they can be so relatable. They are funny, but weird at the same time. I would ask about it and ask them to explain it to me. Because knowing me I would love seeing my grandchildren. and I would like to know what they are talking about.
LOL! I've heard these memes and I think it's hilarous. I think this is going viral with all the highschoolers and their captions. I think it's popular because trends like these always go crazy. I would just ignore it because times have changed so much but I would make sure they know how to properly talk.
I agree with you but I would try to relate to what they are saying. I would just be like whatttt did you say??
I think these terms are so popular is because of memes and just every one saying it all the time, with it also being cetchy to say.
I would ask about it just to make sure its nothing bad.
I think they're popular to say because it's just a thing kids can say to relate to other kids. Let's gain this grain, I would ignore it because there is always something that kids are saying so if you're older then it will be hard for you to learn them all.
So let's go; land this loaf, Lets take this toast, Lets bag this baguette, Lets retrieve this roll, Lets cop this crust, Lets snag this sourdough, Lets yeet this yeast, Lets grab this gluten. Which is a peculiar boast, but it's adequate.
Very catch to say and fun to talk to people while using these sayings, also I like your Thanksgiving bread.
