Engineers at Stanford University have created a fabric inspired by the feet of lizards and geckos. Those you don't know, a gecko use little hairs on their feet to create a one-way adhesive. The project, known as Z-man, will potentially allow us to walk up walls, just like spiderman. Each step is creates a sticky bond that can be broken relatively easily by simply moving in the opposite direction.
They have tested Z-man on a robotic gecko, it worked perfectly. They are now working on up-scaling the project for humans. Its really like hooking and unhooking yourself from whatever surface your walking up.
I would pay a lot of money for one of those....
