Waffle house shooting

On sunday Travis Reinking walked up to the waffle house in nashville and opened fired on the people inside and around the area. The stange thing was is that he was only wearing a jacket! He shot four people all under thirty most of them were college students. luckly James Shaw Jr. took action. After coming out of the restroom he noticed that the shooter stoped shooting and was looking at his gun in distress. Noticing this James jumped on top of him and wrestled the gun of the the shooters hands and threw it over the counter. After that the shooter fled the scene and is still on the loose today.

Q1. What would you think if you saw a guy get out of his truck with a gun and only wearing a jacket??

A1. Well i would instintly call the cops and walk the other way to try not to get shot.

Q2. Would you have wrestled the shooter like James did??

A2. Oh yeah i would no doubt so that he could not deal anymore damage.

  • 1. Well I would keep my eye on the guy because he has his gun out but not sure what he going to do.

    2. I may I don't know it depend if I was there and if the situation can be handle quick and fast.

  • If I saw a guy get  out of his truck with a gun and only wearing a jacket, I would call the police and try to get out of the area as soon as possible and keep everyone and myself around me safe. I probably would not wrestle the shooter like James did because I feel like in the situation I would be too scared to think to tackle the shooter.

  • If I saw that he had a gun, then I would call the police because and probably leave the restaurant because it would be really scary. I don't think that I would tackle him down becuase I would be in shock and scared, and also I don't know if I would actually be able to take him down without hurting myself.

  • I wouldn't suspect anything if I saw someone get out of their truck wearing a jacket. I don't think there's anything suspicious about jackets; people wear them all the time. If I saw that person also hold a gun, I would be much more concerned. I think I would've frozen in my tracks and taken cover, so I definitely wouldn't be courageous enough to wrestle the shooter.

  • I would be completely frightened and call the cops. I would hope to try and stop this man. If I could, I definately would takle the shooter. I would do my very best to keep everyone safe.

  • If I saw this man wearing only a jacket and had a gun I would call the police as soon as I could. I would have done what I could ot stop Travis Reinking. I would also do my best ot help people get to a safe place.

  • I would think What can I do to get this guy stopped and hurting people. I for sure without a doubt have done my best to stop the shooter from hurting anyone else. I also think that people should stop blaming the guns on things like this.

  • I would be terrified and start thinking about what I should do so that I don't become injured. I would find a safe place to hide and call for help. It would depend on the situation, if I thought I could handle the person, I definitely would. His wrestling match could've also caused more damage considering the attacker was holding a loaded gun that could've gone off at any time.

  • I would definetly tackle the shooter if there was an opritunity to. It is not smart to go and confront when he is still open firing, but wait till he is out of ammo or if he is looking away from you. The only difference would be that I would keep him on the ground. There will be other people to secure the gun so the main priority is to keep the gunman down until the police arrive.
