Volcano in Iceland creates strange Lightning Storm

A volcano in Iceland has created a mysterious lightning storm above the rim of and in the volcano. The pictures are stunning and scientists and geologists cannot explain what is causing this. A Jet Stream that flows across Europe has carried the ash and debris from iceland across Europe. Airline flights have been cancelled for about a week because visibility was poor and debris can get logded in the engine of the planes. Over 95,000 flights had to be canceled and rescheduled. LINK

    That is really weird that a volcano can cause that to happen, but it is a pretty cool picture.

    THAT IS CRAZY!! ha but seriouisly that is pretty cool. real nice, i mean i bet there is like a reallyhigh amount of steel inside the volcano and since it is way higher up then even if it was barely storming then it would attract stuff.
