An outbreak of a new coronavirus that began in the Chinese city of Wuhan has already killed 170 people in China. Infections have been confirmed in many other countries. There are nearly a total of 7701 people infected in mainland China. The city of Wuhan has been closed of to the public and no can leave. Nearly 60 million people are under partial or full lockdowns in Chinese cities. The Coronavirus is very similar to the flu with its symptoms being Coughing, high fever, and other flu like symptoms. There has been 83 cases outside China have been reported in over a dozen countries. While most of these cases have a direct link to Wuhan, However there is one case in germany from a man who has not been to china.
1. Do you think that this outbreak of the virus will lead to deaths like the plague did long ago?
I think that this virus won't lead to the number of deaths that the plague average numbers. But as the numbers rise on the death toll it is kinda scary.
2. Are you in any way worried about this virus taking lives in the US?
I'm a little worried about the virus spreading to mainland US because the virus is spreading fast and now has infected all of mainland china.

I agree with you, I do not think that this virus will cause the number of deaths the plague did, but there have been more and more deaths each day from this virus, so hopefully they can find something to stop it. I am a little worried that could come to the US because it has been spreading to more counties, but hopefully they can find a cure.
I don't think it will lead to the number of deaths that happened during the plague, because of the technology and medicine we have today. We should be able to find a cure to get rid of it. I'm a little woried but we should be able to find a way to get rid of the coronavirus.
I agree with your statment in saying that this virus will lead to many people dieing, but it won't put numbers up like the plague did. I also think that we should develop a medicine or vaccine to at least stop the virus.
I don’t think this will lead to death anytime soon because of the symptoms being mild. Maybe after having this for a month or so, then it could lead to death. I’m a little worried because it has been spreading in many other countries. But the symptoms are like having the flu so hopefully it can go away at a fast paste.
I think that there will be a couple infected in the U.S but wont be bad as in china. As long as the people in the U.S who have it and get to a hospital and try to stable it. And they control it, it wont be bad at all since the medicare is on a good level. There could be a possible way of it spreading and getting to diffrent parts of the U.S causing many to be ill by the coronavirus. But i feel like doctors or whoever notifies that the coronavirus has made it to the U.S and spreading alot i feel like the U.s would be fine since the U.S shut down the airport i think to it was so that it doesnt get here.
Since the cronovirus is like the flu, I think many people might get it, but a small amout of people will die. I don't think many will die in the US because our medicare is very good and it is hard to have a virus that is incurable.
I agree with your statement that the cronovirus is very similar to the flu, so that is why is has infected all areas in main land china. I disagree that it many people will die I think that many people will die in china, but only in china because of their huge population.
I think that he Coronavirus will infect lots of people, but it won't kill very many people because the symptoms are like the flu, and the flu doesn't kill very many people. I think that the virus will probably spread out across the world because there is no cure, but it won't kill many people.
