USH First Quarter Feedback

[Mr. Bruns]

I am requesting feedback on both what you have liked and disliked about my class so far this semester. Most importantly, please let me know what I could to make this class better as well as helping you achieve a higher level of performance. I will only keep comments that truly give me good feedback. Thanks! Mr. Bruns PS. I have implemented many ideas that students have thrown out there over the years so give some thought to what you write.

I liked how the chapter 5-8 presentations worked out. I liked learning from what my peers have researched and then with Mr. Bruns adding his two cents in I thought I learned more this way.

I love the oral tests, I'd rather try to talk my way through a question and getting full points than having to write it out ant the teacher not get what I'm trying to say. This is the first year ever that I've actually started to learn something from history and how it realates to today and I'm enjoying it. Blogging's really easy, oral tests are easy, and I like how there's not a lot of homeworrk, but I still learn. I like everything about US History really.

I really like the class so far. I still don't like oral tests because I hate being on the spot and I get nervous and I usually blank and forget what im supposed to say. I think you should do like a mix of written and oral tests. Like for one test do it oral and then the next test make it written.

I like oral tests. because they challenge me I guess. I like not having the free blog and I like having this just one assigned blog. Theyre getting easier because now ive started putting my thoughts into them and it really does go faster.. but good job! love the class

i dont really like the oral testings to much im not saying there to hard but i get nervous and i forget some of the answers

the oral tests help, i do good on them. Blogging is easy points. its almost a non fail class for anyone.

I like how we now only have one assigned blog per week. I do not really miss the free choice blog. The only thing I dislike are the oral tests. I always get nervous and forget some of the information I studied.

I really think that we should have more time to work on powerpoints in class.

I like having the oral tests because on oral tests you can talk your way through the answer, which you can't do on written tests. i do agree that we should have more in class time to work on our projects.
