Im sure that you all have heard of donating you organs when you die to somebody else who desperately needs them to survive. This is essentially the same concept only with pacemakers. When people who have pacemakers die, their pacemakers that once made their hearts beat, are no longer useful to them but they still have years of battery life left. By donating used pacemakers to people in developing countries we would be able to alleviate a 5,000 cost to the patient who receives it, making it much more financially possible for them to have it implanted and save their life. Do you think this is a good idea or not?

Thats awesome reusing things to help other people live longer thats the way to go
I think that is a very good idea! My grandma has a pacemaker and it can get costly so I think that if it still works and is still saving lives and can cost less is a very smart and good idea!!:)
this is a very smart idea i think! if they are able to be reused why not? I also think that it would be good if they were cheaper to since they are used. Kind of like when you buy a used car it cheaper then the brand new ones. Same thing for these! but that is cool they can do that.
I think this is a good idea, because it would save lifes. A couple years ago my grandma had a heart attack, and the doctors put in a pacemaker, I strongly believe that pacemaker saved her life. So if it would be a matter a saving a life, I think they should be able to reuse them.
