Yancy Baer, a disabled Veteran from Texas was traveling to San Antonio to tell his story to a non profit organization. When Yancy Baer tried to enter a Starbucks he was stopped by an employee and told he could not bring his dog into the coffee house with him. when he tried to explain that Verbena was his service dog, the employee became short tempered and said " you are not blind" Yancy Baer tried to explain that his leg was amputated but the employee did not listen. Yancy Baer did eventually talk to a different employee that understood and apologized. I think this is sick that the employee would talk to a Veteran of our great country that way. I think this man should be fired and learn how to talk to people with respect.
What do you think should the Starbucks employee be fired? Why or why not?

Interesting story! Well done! Be sure to capitalize!
Of course the employee should be fired. After that he should get drafted to the military and go through what that veteran did. After that we'll see where his state of mind is.
I do think that the employee should be fired. Talking with that much disrespect to any person is just not okay, especially to a veteran that does not have one leg.
I do think it makes it worse that he was a Veteran but this is a sick way to talk to anyone especially when you are just meeting them for the first time.
I think all employees should learn from this mistake. You need to treat people with respect and if someone says their dog is a service dog, then they should be allowed to come in. The Starbucks employee should be fired for disrespecting a customer, even after his apology. Starbucks apologizing was the right thing to do. Unlike Yancy though, I might would try another Starbucks, give the chain another chance. Not all stores are the same.
he actually said in his interview he does not hold anything against Starbucks or the man who gave him a hard time and said the man was probably just having a bad day.
I know this man did not directly commit a crime, but in my opinion this man should be put in jail for showing someone with so much honor so much disrespect.
I am not sure about being put in jail but it does make me sick that someone would talk to a Veteran this way especially an injured Veteran
He should be fired. That is no way to talk to a customer, let alone a U.S. Veteran. Even if the guy wasn't a Veteran, that is no way an employee should talk.
Yes I do think it makes it worse that he was talking to a Veteran of our country that way but you are right that is no way to talk to anyone.
