This week a US B-52 bomber had launched a record series of strikes in norther Afghanistan, dropping a payload of 24 percision guided munition strikes against the insurgent revenue sources, training facilities, and support networks. The B-52 bombers can carry a load of up to 70,000 pounds of explosives. The was carried out after the Taliban launched a series of attacks in the heart of Afghanistan's capital kabul last week. these attacks from the Taliban killed 100 people and injured 200 more.
was this a nessecary response or do you think that this was a little bit over kill?

I think this would be a good idea, as long as we know for sure that no innocent people will be at the sight of the bombing. Thats very hard to do but I think it is humane to atleast try to limit the amount of innocent people that would be killed.
I think we must do everything in our power that is necessary to take down enemy forces that are causing so much terror in the middle east. I do however think that we must be careful not to injure any civillian or non enemy persons.
