Air Force had a "severe situation" that one of their ne KC-46 air refueling tanker aircraft, it was trash and industrial tools were found in most of the planes right after they were delivered to the Air Force. Assistant Secretary that works for the Air Force that works with acquistion, technology, and logistics. Dr. Will Roper had made clear concerns after his visit at Boeing Everett Washington plant (were the plane was assembled). Dr. Roper left a comment to the people of the company saying "I left concerned, and I also left thinking Boeing understands they have a severe situation that's going to take top level engagement from their company". After the Air Force found that they stopped accepting the "new tankers" from Boeing on February 20th.

1.) If you were in the Air Force and you're the one who found a Air Plane trashed, how would you handle it?

If I was in the Air Force and I found this I wouldn't be to happy about it, because no person in this world should find a air plane trashed and not looking good if their going to use it.

2.) Put yourself in Dr. Will Roper's shoes. How would you leave a comment/ concerns about what happened to the plane.

If I was Dr. Will Roper I would be very upset, because if their sending these supposed to be "new tankers" I would send them right back to where they came from and have them redo what they did to the plane and make different changes to the plane for how bad they did to the plane that they were going to send to the Air Force to use.

  • Overall, I think your summary could be stronger. I also think you could have replied more frequenlty(you replied only twice) and with more meaning as you said "I agree with you".  Also be sure to capitialize key words in your title.

  • I would clean it up and let my superiors know that the plane was left in terrible condition. Hopefully they would find out who was responsible for doing it.

I would ask someone in person to please make sure the planes are all cleaned up and ready to go out the next time.

  • If I was in the air force and found an airplane trashed I would be outraged. I would leave comments about how frustrated and upset I am about the plane being trashed. I have heard stories that the Boeing crashed due to failed software. I think that the airplane technician and engineer need to fix the problem in the airplanes.

  • Probably would not be on a plane that was trashed because the Air Force would have inspected the plane after Boeing delivered it. The KC 135's the Air Force uses do need to be updated since some of them in the Sioux City base were built in the '60s and '70s. However, the KC-46's are very expensive and shouldn't be having these problems after years and millions of dollars in investments.

  • If I was in the Air Forve and found the plane trashed I would be upset and then start cleaning. If I was in Dr. Will Roper's shoes I would be very upset that the plane came to me in the conditions it as in.

  • If I was in the Air Force and found one of the airplanes trashed I would be very upset, then I would get everyone to clean it up. If I were Dr. Will Roper, I would tell the people in the plane that I was upset with the situation and that they need to take care of things better.

  • If I were in the Air Force and found an airplane trashed I would be angry first. I would then get people to start cleaning up the trashed plane so it could be clean fot the airforce. If I were Dr. Will Roper, I would tell the people on the plane that I was angry and that they should take care of things better, I would make sure that they knew how disappointed I was.

  • I would be very outraged because the Air Force is all about airplanes and when an airplane like that is trashed it is just a bad thing. I would definitly leave comments and try to figure out who would do something like this.

  • If I was in the Air Force and found a trashed airplane, I would contact the person in charge right away so that it can be fixed before it needs to be used. If I was Dr. Roper, I would be very frustrated because the planes need to have reliable tankers so that it is safe for the Air Force to use, and are not failing on them.

    • I completely agree with you Ania
