Universe Not Created By God

Stephen Hawking claims that the universe was not created by "God".

I agree with his claim. What about you? Do you think it was created by "God" or just created itself?

i think that god created it..... or maybe brad could have cuz he can do whatever he wants

I agree with him. God didnt create the universe, why would god want to do that anyway.

I honestly beleive a god had to create the world we will never know though.

God created this universe. Most of us learned he did it in six days and took the seventh to rest. Why are we letting some scientist who is probably just put this statement out to have higher sales on his book change our opinion? This universe was created by God and God alone.

i think im switzerland on this topic, like i believe that god could have created the universe, because he was lonely and wanted others to be happy, but also beleive, that the universe could have just created itself. No one can acaully be 100% sure how it all started, so i say we should all be happy that were here and not even worry about it.

It was created by God, and I really don't think that this guy knows what he is talking about. I'm going to stick with christianity.

im a cathloic guy so i believe god created the universe, thats not my religion talking, thats my belief

think on this.....maybe the universe created itself, but what did the universe make itself out of it??? I mean didn't we just learn that spontaneous generation was impossible? sorry playing devils advocate.....quite honestly I don't care how it happened, we're here, the end. Unless of course history repeats itself which means eventually there will be another big bang somewhere at some time that someone will see and answer this question, unless that theory is wrong too.
