Unemployment is huge in the United States. In the United states unemployment rate is 3.8% which is 6.3 million people unemployed. It is hard to live unemployed, making no income is stressful and hurts people's pocket. Not only is it hard to make money and have essentials, it's hard to pay payments and bills. You also have a higher chance of living in poverty while unemployed.
There are a couple of pros that make unemployment seem nice to younger people. For example, you have all the free time you would need in a day. Another thing that may be beneficial to some unemployed people is they get a check every month that is under wage supplement so they can make money while searching for a job. Some people are known for scamming that system
Now on the backside of the pros and the cons, there is definitely some controversy. Being unemployed is bringing you a horrible paycheck every week. Bringing in even less than a normal person would bring more stress than what you have already. Healthcare is one of the biggest if not the biggest problems to being unemployed. Reason of needing to have healthcare is because it covers anything medical, “ most doctor and hospital visits, prescription drugs, wellness care, and medical devices”

It has come way down. You really should have explained that to students that said it was getting out of hand.
I personally think that unemployment in the United States is 100% getting out of hand but this could happen for one of many reasons like people being really lazy not wanting to work or people who physically cannot work due to some type of major injury. Mostly the very lazy people who do not want to work. No, I will not be one of the lazy people that don’t want to work. In fact, I have a job that I have had for about 2 years. I think that unemployment is a big problem in the United States that really does need to be fixed.
I think the unemployment rates are out of hand and need to go down. The unenployment rates have esspecialy went up since covid. Because a lot of people have lost their jobs and they just dont want to work anymore. It sad seeing buisnesses close down because they dont have enough people to work there.

I think that unemploynent is starting to get out of hand. People nowadays are starting to become to lazy and are trying to beat the system. There are tons of businesses looking to hire, but nobody wants to work anymore. I will most definietly try not to be unemployed because being lazy is not fun.

I think that unemployment rate is getting out of hand and only people who physically cant work should be the only people able to get unimployed and get a unemployment check and be able to be unemployed and not have to work for a living. Only if they cant work should they be able to.
I think that the unemployment rate needs to go down. It is not beneficial for our country having that many people unemployed. I will never live unemployed. I think that unemployment is terrible and as a country we need to do something about it.
