What does everyone think about underage drinking? I've known some people who have been hit and killed by kids who are underage that had been drinking. The drunk drivers walked away from the scene fine, but the people I knew were killed instantly. Seeing their families at the funeral and afterwards makes me wonder what kind of people would do that sort of thing. I know I would never want to be responsible for making someone else feel like them, or taking away someone else's life, so I am against it. If people are going to drink, I would much rather they stay off the roads than try to drive and take the chance of killing someone else.

I think that there really shouldn't be anything wrong with it if you keep it within your house, and like you have no intentions on driving afterwords, that should go for adults also, because i know a couple people who have died from drunk driving. I also think that if you or when you drink that you do it for fun, and not because you are depressed or something or just want to get messed up..
No matter how much adults say dont drink teens will do it. I think that almost everyone at least tastes beer once during high school. But if you do drink stay off the road. I just got in a accident last monday and we all are fine but we were not drunk. I could not imagine driving drunk. It would make it twice as likely for you to get in an accident.
i definitely agree with you bri. if people are gonna drink underage. they should at least e responsible enough to stay off the roads. i cant even imagine the feeling that person had after killng the people you knew, it much have been horrible.
I hate underage drinking and drunk driving. I think it is so stupid. Like jeez you will be able to drink legally in a few years. They make laws for a reason. DUH!! Drunk driving is so irresponsible. How would you like to go to jail for the night for drinking and driving or go to sleep in your nice warm bed, or maybe FALL ASLEEP instead of passing out.
Underage drinking is idiotic and stupid. They do it because they think its Cool. News flash! It makes you an idiot if you do something that will kill your body's systems! Your body is not mature enough yet for it, that is why they have a set legal age. As for the dricing, that is their own choice to be even more of an idiot than they are already being. I have heard of people being hurt by drunk drivers but never had anyone close to me have that happen. I am ok with adults drinking in moderation, but if I ever caught a friend who is underage drinking, I would take the drink away, and throw it out then yell at them then maybe walk away.
I agree with Bri, if you want to drink yourself into a coma, be my guest, but stay off of the road or your just asking for disaster. The same for those who are of the legal age for drinking. The damage that that can cause is catastrophic, and unforgivable.
Well, I beleive that underage drinking is bad, but it is going to happen. The main reason teens drink underage is because of the thrill of doing something illegal. You just have to hope that if teens are going to be irresponsibe and drink underage, they will be responsible enough to not put other people's lives in danger, and stay out of the driver's seat.
Once you hit the age 21, you should enjoy drinking. If you were to drink under the age of twenty-one and are attempting to hide from the law. I, myself would not find that enjoyable at all.
I know some people who really do stuff like that. Does it necessarily HAVE to happen. No, teenagers in general are just plain stupid. Like the twelve year old boy who went for a joy-ride while he was drunk in Nebraska. People do stuff like that because they're stupid. It just happens. If you're smart, you'll wait till you're 21 to drink. If you're really really smart, like super genius, you won't do drugs at all.
