A United States helicopter crashed in central South Korea. Both the pilot and the passenger on board died. It is very unusual for something like this to happen, no one knows for sure what happened. It was most likely a hardware malfunction that brought the helicopter to the ground. The U.S will be looking into the cause, hopefully finding what caused the crash. If it is a hardware malfunction they may be able to check over other active helicopters and see if they have the same issue.
Do you think the U.S needs to inspect the helicopter to see what happened?
Does the U.S needs to inspect current helicopters, so something like this doesn't happen?
What could be done to prevent a catastrophe like this from happening again?

So they don't think its like a terrier attack or something like that and so other don't die. Yes i think they should just in case another one has one or not and make sure nobody goes on it. Make sure they have the right parts and everything to it that it needs.
We could always give things a double check before they go out but I assume if it was a malfunction it's just this one helicopter. These things could possibly be prevented just by better checks for quality and function ability.
I agree it would be a good idea to double check, it could have been prevented.
I think they should check the helicopter and make sure it wasn't shot down. I think they should check every helicopter before every flight.
Yeah I think this is something they would do first thing, It would be pretty obvious if it was shot down though.
They should always check their helicopters very thoroughly before they ever fly it. I'm not really sure what could've been done to help.
I think they need to check just to make sure it was a malfunction and of course they should always check their helicopters for something like this. I'm not sure what could be done other than being very careful when making the helicopters
I definitely think that the US needs to check over the helicopter, so they can find the cause and fix it to prevent it from happening during other flights. I definitely think it would be a good idea for the US to inspect current helicopters, just to be safe. I think that if all helicopters are inspected and pilots make sure to take extra precautions before and during the flight, catastrophes like this have a lesser chance of happening again.
Yeah I agree, it could save future lives
