U.S. Drops!

The United States has now dropped to number 5 on the global ranking of the world's most competitive economies. This is because everybody is loosing faith in our government because of the debt problems and unemployment rates going up. The order of the countries goes:

1: Switzerland for the third conzecutive year

2: Singapore moving up

3: Sweden bumped down one

4:Finland moving up from seventh last year

5: the United States moving down from 4th last year and 1st in 2008

This just lets you know how the economy is doing now days not only are prices going up but there are bigger problems that arn't getting better!

  • Doesn't surpise me at all. The way gas prices are no one is really able to afford to go anywhere. It's what about $3.24 per gallon when back in 1979 it was like 79 cents. Go back to 79 cents, then maybe people will start buying things and get our economy back up to number one or two.
