The United Nations have voted to unanimously voted late today (Friday the 27th) to have Syria eliminate it's Chemical Weapons after this long dramatic month of being on the verge of war. However the resolution did result in not authorizing forces to be used against Syria if they are in violation so sorry for anyone looking for an outbreak of war. It does however "the destruction of a category of weapons that the Syrian government has used ruthlessly and repeatedly against its own people. And this resolution will make clear that there are going to be consequences for noncompliance," Samantha Power, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said before the vote. • My only problem with this is what is really making Syria getting rid of their chemical weapons? I don't think that the UN should wage war against them, but I don't think that talking is going to make the situation much better.
