The most famous thing about Tyler Summit is his mom Pat Summit. She was the head-coach of the Tennessee Lady Volunteers for 38 years but had because of her health. Tyler is 24 years old and he was recently named head-coach for the women's basketball program at Louisiana Tech. He learned not just everything he knew from his mother but from interviewing legendary coaches such as John Wooden and Mich Krzyzawski. He would ask them pointed questions and learned how to be a coach. He never asked for his mom's help until his junior year in high school. He has also been around basketball all of his life. Tyler attended his first practice at 8 days old.
For me it seems like basketball is in his blood. I also think he will be every bit the coach his mom was but in his own way.

Good story but a pretty basic question.
I think he will be, if he knows what he's doing and is well liked!
If he knows a lot about basketball and have been basketball most of his life then yes he would probably be successful.
