A 15 year old girl and her younger 11 year old sister shot their 16 year old brother to death on Tuesday. The older girl said that her brother had beaten her and locked her in her room. Once he went to sleep she got a gun out of her parents' room and then shot him. The younger girl assisted her with the murder. They both have been charged with premeditated murder and are to appear in a Florida court on Wednesday with their parents. Also after the shooting the sisters ran off to a town nearly four miles away. The younger sister called a friends mother to tell her that she ran away but when the mother arrived she called the cops. The police found the body in the living room of the house. The children's parents, Keith and Misty Kornegay, were out of town doing something for their job, so all of the children were unsupervised. This case is still under investigation.
What would you do if you were the parents of these kids?
I would be very mad at my daughter for doing something like this but I hope I would never have to go through this.

If I were the parents, I would be extremely upset because of their acts, but especially upset that they killed one of my own children. I would almost feel like a bad parent because I didn't teach them well enough that its not okay to kill someone just because they hurt you (unless in self defense).
I honestly wouldn't know how to react to this kind of thing! First, I would be in total shock and then I wouldn't even know what to do with the daughters. Since my son got shot I would wonder why and think if he really did abuse them in some way either sexually or verbally.
Yeah they must have been really bad parents for the children to do this sort of thing to each other, and it must have been pretty bad abuse for the girls to kill him.
I would be shock that my daughters would shoot there own brother it seems really extreme,I would wonder if my son had abused them before.
maybe he had but the girls had been too frightened to tell their mom? Maybe he threatened to hurt them again if they told.
I would be upset. I would never go that far. If she was beaten you should go to the police or jtell your parents no need to shoot them that should not be the way you should solve the problem. especially with your family.
Yeah that is way too far, she should have just called the police or told her parents. She didn't solve the problem because now she has her own.
I would hope this would never happen in the first place, but I would probably be really angry with my children and wouldn't let them near weapons in the first place. This seems like a young age to have children shooting other kids.
If i was a parent of thees girls i wold probably have a herd time with my older son being shot by my daughters. I would probably send them to a help center.
