On August 29th, an 8 year old girl died of dehydration after her parents forced her to jump on a trampoline for an extended amount of time. The trampoline was measured to be 110 degrees farenheit, while the ground was 150. The parents bond has been set to $500,000 each, and are both being charged with capital murder. An investigation found that she was put on the trampoline as punishment, and did not let her eat breakfast or drink water.

I think their sentence should be at least 15 years. Although it might have been an accident the way they were treating and punishing the child was very cruel and is child abuse. I think there should be more charges because they need to be punished for their foolish act and take responsibility.
I think they should be put in prison for life because what they did was wrong and they don't deserve a chance to get out. I think they should get more charges because they didn't like her eat breakfast or drink any water and they had to have watched the news so they had to have known how hot it was outside.
I think they should be punished more because that is very cruel and unusual punishment. I don't care what she did I don't think she could have done something that bad to were they did something like that. I think they should be put in jail for a long time.
I personally think that their punishment should be life in prison because they punished their kid by putting her outside in 100-degree weather and not feeding her or giving her water at any point. I definitely think their punishment should be way higher because she ended up dying because of their actions and making her jump on a hot day without food or water.
I think they should be put in jail for making a poor girl sit there and die. Their charges should be a lot higher becuase this girl was inoccent and did nothing even close to deserving this kind of a horriable punishment. Familys that do these kind of bad things to their kids should be put in jail.
They should be facing the full hand of the law. It is unacceptable how some people treat their kids. They killed their own kid as a punishment that is inhumane and its just impossible to believe that a parent would do that to their own kid.
They should 100 percent be sentenced to life in prison for involuntary manslaughter and maltreatment of children. Even if the girl hadnt died that is extreme child abuse/neglect. Accident or not the girl did die because they were giving her a ridiculous punishment and neglecting the childs health needs. I think there should absolutely be more charges for this.
I think that they should go to jail for this because they should have did something diffent to punish her because when it is that hot on a black thing it is going to make it a lot hoter and you should not be able to keep water away from kids so I think that they should have to go to jail
I think that the parents did an awful thing to their child by makeing her jump and a hot trampoline and starving her and also the fact that they wouldn't give her something to drink and caused her to be dehydrated. I think that the sentence should be much higher then what it currently is. I think that the parents should have life in prison for torturing their own daughter.
