On Monday Presiden Trump met with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi to praise the re-confirmation of U.S. and India ties. More than 100,000 people packed into the largest cricket stadium to see them and give rally to Trump. Nearly everyone in the crowd wore whites hats saying either Welcom, Trump or Namaste, Trump. He stayed for a 36 hour trip there declaring that he had traveled all the way there just to say the message that "America loves India." And that AMerica will always respect India and be faithful with them. This was very diffent from many of Trumps visit to other countries which are nodmally met with lots of protests and icy handshakes from leader but in India they greeted him warmly and with joy. Many people filled the streets to get a glimpse of the American president and many posters and billboards were put up showing Trump and Melania. The president will conclude his visit to India Tuesday by spending the day in the captial and meeting with Modi over trade deals.

Why do you think the people of India were so happy to see him compared to other countries
Its is probably because the United States and India have good relationships so they happy to see him meet with their leader because the could discuss deals that could be good for the people of India as well

If I were trump I would try to learn things about other countrys. Some of them might be doing things that could benefit our doing. It does not happen alot but that should be one of the reasons why presidents travel.
I think the people of india were happy to see Trump because the condition of that country is not the best and they all want to trade with america because america has a lot of money. I would try to meet him and go listen to him speak and take advise from him becasue he is the president
I feel that they wanted to see someone who has rights and is like the owner of them. I feel like Trump wants to keep good connections with India so that they could have a good trading process. I feel like the first day would be exciting but then after the first day, I would get tired of seeing his face. I know that some people are fans and want to be by his side or get a picture with him, but I don't see it as a huge deal.

If Trump was to spend 36 hours in my town I would try to find a way to see him speak and maybe try to get a picture with him. Also I think that the people of India were happy to see him because India and American have a good relationship and they were happy to see Trump and their leader together.
India's population is approximately 1.4 billion people, so there naturally will be a lot more people in the country that like him compared to other countries like North Korea. If Trump came to Harlan, I would go see him speak because the President of the United States just came into town, why wouldn't I go?
