Trump left the republican senate divided after the move he pulled to see if he will go farther in unknown territory or try to stop trump. Republicans try to stop Trump emergency declaration was more on the senate side not the house side. The president declared the emergency at to get the money for the wall but the democrates don't like what he is doing, and the senate is divided.

I do not like that he initiated a national emergency, but there was not much else he could do. One of his big points in his election campaign was to build a wall at the south border. If he does not build a wall like he promised, people will probably not re-elect him. I also agree with you that he will get the border wall, but it could take awhile.
1. to be honest states of national emergency are declared very often and many are still active to this day since 1978 58 national emergencies have been declared and all but two from obamas presidency are still active. the only reason people are freaking out about trumps national emergency is because he hasnt made any effort to be likable.

I think the move is only necessary, even though many people disagree with what he is doing. He said at the beginning of his presidency he was going to build a wall and this is the only way to do it. I think Trump is going to get it one way or another, since he's already declared national emergency so theres no going back.
I agree. He pretty much has it in the bag it just needs to start the construction for the wall. once the wall is up I think all the haters will stop and say that was a smart move.
I don't necessarily think that he should declare a national emergency. There are other ways that they could try to figure their issues out without including military money. I think that he is eventually going to get his wall. He seems to really want it, so he will more than likely get it.

I think that most people think the wall if bad because it could cause the taxes to rise. I also think if he gets it started it will keep geting built even if he's not president when it gets done.
I think that Trump could have made a better move than declaring a national emergency. Althougth, we would have just ended up in another government shutdown. Trump is a stubborn and rich 72 year old, he isn't going to give in that easily. So, he will most likely get his wall.
