Since the beginning of the NCAA Mens Basketball March Madness tournament in 1939 the lowest seed to ever make the champoinship game is an 8 seed. It has happened multiple times with teams such as LSU and Villanova. The lowest seed to ever win the championship game was the 8th seeded Villanova mentioned before. This weekend, March 31st at 6:09 ET, 11th seeded Loyola-Chicago has the chance to make history in a basketball game against a 3 seeded Michigan. The Ramblers will be playing to make history, entering the game as a 5.5 point underdog.

I think it would be really cool for Loyola to win the chamionship, but I picked Michigan vs Villanova in the championship so I would also like to see that happen

I picked Loyola to lose their second round game because I thought there was no way there were going to make it this far.

I did not really care who won but I really wish Loyola could have won. I did not fill out a bracket.
I am not a big watcher of basketball and really don't know much about either of the teams, but I think that it would be cool for an underdog to win. I did not fill out a bracket and I honestly have no idea what I would have predicted because I don't know sports.

I have no background with basketball and have a dim idea of what the teams are and which ones are good, but I think that it would be awesome for Loyola-Chicago to win and leave a mark in history. I didn't fill out a bracket, but I would probably have not guessed they would get so far into the tournament like they did. Good job to them!
I agree, being such a lower seed making it as far as they did to make history would be pretty cool to watch. I think that most people also picked them to get eliminated earlier than they made it.
I am not big on following sports as other people are, so I don't really care who wins and who looses. I didn't fill out a bracket either but I am interested now to see how this play's out. Will they win or loose? Will they make history? I don't know but it should be exciting.
The game took place this weekend and they fell just short of making the championship game. They were still one of the most succesful underdog teams since March Madness started.
I don't follow basketball so I don't have a preference in who wins. I filled out a bracket once, and I just clicked random teams with cool names. Loyola is a pretty cool name so they'd be towards the top to win.
