In Canada there have been protests for truckers rights. The reason the truckers are doing this is because most of them don't want the vaccine mandate. Most truckers have refused and they started to protest and not letting truckers go past the border unless they have the vaccine and the truckers don't like the rules that they have to follow.
Even some truckers have been towed or arrested because they were not following the rules and they were blocking the bridge and a lot of people don't like that. Even some truckers have lost their homes, families, income and other things. On doug ford announced that he never insisted on the protest. But the demonstrators' persistence has moved Trudeau to call on sweeping, rarely powers, but some people say that it can soon inflame anti-government sentiments.
Trudeau won't allow truckers to cross the border unless they get the vaccine. Some people say it's a good thing that he is allowing truckers through the border that have the vaccine but it is also bad because the truckers that don't can't go to their destinations and won't be able to deliver what they are hauling.

This topic has been done several times before so I wish you would have updated this story to what is currently happening a bit more. You didn't comment to any student comments which is worth 30 points.
I think that it is everyones personal opinion and should be able to have the choicce wether or not they have to get the vaccine I most certainly don't think that they should be getting arrestf for it I personally agree with them because I don't t think the vaccine helps anything.
I do not think that it is right that they are not letting them cross if they do not have the vaccine. They are most days in the truck just driving by themselves and only get out when they stop, but then just keep going. I believe that it is their choice whether they want it or not.
i dont understand why they are not allowee to cross with out the vaccine most of them never leave the truck and they mostly by themselves thru out the drive so it shouldnt be a requirment to have a vaccine.
I don't get why the government is requiring trucker to get vaccines. They are on their own for days at a time and have little contact with anyone else anyway. I do think that it is fair for the trucker to be protesting.
Honestly I don't see why the government are trying to force vaccines onto us. I get that the vaccine could benefit us, but some individuals have religious beliefs or just don't trust the science. I think that the truckers should be able to protest as long as they are peaceful.
I think that what the truckers are doing is perfectly fine. They are alone for most of the day since they are driving trucks, so I don't think they should be required to get the vaccine. Also, these protests are peaceful, so they should be allowed to protest as long as they stay that way.
The truckers easily should be protesting for there rights for this reason. If they dont allow them over the border then the supply numbers will go down and I think its stupid. Once they all quit and lose there belongings it will be hard to find more people that will do there job.
I think it is everones own opinion and decision if they want to get vaccinated or not. It would be bad to lose truck drivers because they are important and always wanted. I think it is in their right to protest. That way people see how important they are and that we need them, vaccinated or not.
