A 62 year old widow and her troublesome 19 year old daughter went on a dream vacation in Bali...sounds like a dream come true right? False, the two had a very rocky relationship over the past 10 years according to the 86 police visits! According to friends of the widow (Sheila von Wiese Mack) her daughter Heather had recently been hanging out with the wrong crowd lately and that her mother barely recognized her anymore. Heather and her boyfriend Tommy Shcaefer age 21 were caught trying to flee the hotel after her mother was found half naked and beaten to death stuffed in a suit case and left in a taxi. It is not quite clear who committed the crime at the moment but Heather is not a suspect at the moment but could become one at any given time. Friends of the deceased say that they tried to tell her not to take her daughter with as she has always been troublesome and devious. But Sheila had a good heart and tracked her daughter down and the two set off on the dream vacation with the mother met an unfortunate end.

I think what the girl did is wrong. If I was the parent and she was hanging around the wrong people I would say something about it to try stop it. I wouldn't take her along unless she stooped doing the wrong things that was making here do what she did.
The mother could have been thinking that she needed this vacation and once they came back she would clean up her act a little bit. It's pretty awful seeing that someone would shove another person into a suitcase, it's unthinkable in my case really.
I would not have taken her because if they were fighting and had 86 police visits between the two of them there was something bound to happen to her or heather on vacation.
If I were her I wouldn't want to take her, either. Her daughter and her obviously had issues, so you can't force that kind of thing. Although at the same time when on Vacation it's all good vibes and so maybe that'd be a good time to reconnect. You never know! I can't believe her body was shoved into a suitcase! I really hope it wasn't her daughter. All the things mothers do for there children, that's awful.
I definitely would not take her, especially if they have a rocky relationship and shes been hanging with the wrong people.. I dont think forcing her to go on vacation was a very good thing..
I definitely would not take her, considering that she barely recognizes her own daughter, and they have a rocky relationship, but it was smart of her to take her daughter on vacation where they could probably have time to get closer again, and change the relationship they had. But hearing that she tracked her daughter down and basically forced her to go on vacation with her, Heather would not have willingly wanted to make amends with her mom.
After hearing that the daughter had been hanging around the wrong group and they had a rocky relationship, I probably wouldn't have taken her with especially when she barely recognized her. I think that the vacation was meant to be for a good time and maybe get their relationship back on track but I think doing things around home or getting the daughter help may have been the better way to go.
Considering that we would have a rocky relationship, probably not. It's a vacation for Pete's sake, I would like to be happy rather than try to watch what my devious daughter does. Ya I would like to make our relationship better, but I don't think forcing her to go on a vacation is the right way of doing it.
Its her daughter I guess but if I were her I wouldn't of tracked her down and taken her. Why because she had been hanging around with the wrong people and would disrespect her. I would discipline her not give her a vacation.
