On Sunday, May 9th, 2021, Tristyn Bailey was reported missing, and later found dead in the woods. 13 year old, Tristyn Bailey lived a normal, and happy life, being apart of the cheerleading squad, with loving parents. Tristyn left her house pre-hours around 1:15 a.m. on Sunday May 9th, and by 10 a.m. she was reported missing. On Sunday afternoon, 12 hours after her last sight, St. Johns County Sheriff's Office sent out a notice on social media saying that, Tristyn was missing, telling people to keep an eye out for her. Later that evening, Tristyn was found in a wooded area near a retention pond.
Monday, May 10th, Aiden Fucci was arrested for the murder of, Tristyn Bailey. Classmates reported Tristyn and Aiden being close friends, and living in the same neighborhood. Tristyn was cause of death was sharp force tramua by stabbing, however the weapon used hasn't been found. The state attorney's office confirmed Tristyn was stabbed more than once. The arrest report says that the deputies were able to get ahold of a security video that showed the two teens wakling on east Saddlestone Drive around 1:45 a.m. Then later showing just Aiden walking west around 3:27 a.m., and when later searching Fucci's home officers found clothes that tested postive with the presence of blood. Sheriff's also said Tristyn had been found with her clothes on and there was no indication that she had been sexually assaulted, despite rumors saying she had been.
Aiden Fucci was charged with 2nd degree murder, and is only facing 7 years. Fucci also posted on his snapchat "Hey guys has inybody seen Tristyn lately" while in the back of a squad car. Fucci appeared in court on Tuesday morning, and the judge order him to remain in custody for 21 days or until further order of the court. So far, the state attorney's office has yet to determine whether Fucci will be tried as an adult or not.

I agree, it shouldnt matter that he technically isnt an adult. He killed someone and he was fully aware of what he was doing. And I agree that she should have been smarter about her choices because that was obviously not the best choice.
Yes, I understand not wanting him to get out in 7 years because he is a minor but that was the whole point of that system kids make dumb mistakes, and yes, some worse than others but he shouldn't;t be tried as an adult because he isn't and he has rights too.
Kids do make dumb mostakes. A lot of them don't know right from wrong yet and we have no idea of his home situation. There could be something going on there that drove him to do something like this. He shouldn't be tried as an adult because of the severity of the crime.
personally yes i do, any guy is going to take advantage of a girl. its sad to say but this is how some guys think of girls as objects and that this is the best way to do it. i hope fucci realizes what he did. but for doing what he did i think that he should serve more then just 7 years
I believe that fucci should serve life in prison because of his actions. not only did he only affect himself while doing it, alot of family of tristyn was affected during the process. losing a loved can be mentally hard on someone making them do bad things and i think that fucci should have some things done to him.
I think that he should be charged because of the evidence that they found, but I don't think that he assaulted her however I think that he should be charged and he should have to go to jail. I don't think that he would've done this because they were young.
I agree with this because of the actions that this man took and that he should be put in jail because that is rediculus that he could do that and nothing happen to him. Something does need to happen to him.
I do think that Fucci killed her based on the snapchat in the back of the police car, and yes he should be charged. I don't think that he raped her though, they aren't very old and I couldn't see anyone that young raping someone else.
I agree with this because the evidence it what proves most of the point and also if they do have this evidence to prove that this man is guilty shouldn't he already be in jail? Also this happened to a 13 year old like if that happened to one of your family members they would lose the whole rest of there life.
I feel as though Fucci should be charged as an adult, I do not feel like he did sexually assault Tristyn Bailey though. I think that he did have a part to play in her murder and should be charged as if he was an adult.
