On Sunday, May 9th, 2021, Tristyn Bailey was reported missing, and later found dead in the woods. 13 year old, Tristyn Bailey lived a normal, and happy life, being apart of the cheerleading squad, with loving parents. Tristyn left her house pre-hours around 1:15 a.m. on Sunday May 9th, and by 10 a.m. she was reported missing. On Sunday afternoon, 12 hours after her last sight, St. Johns County Sheriff's Office sent out a notice on social media saying that, Tristyn was missing, telling people to keep an eye out for her. Later that evening, Tristyn was found in a wooded area near a retention pond.
Monday, May 10th, Aiden Fucci was arrested for the murder of, Tristyn Bailey. Classmates reported Tristyn and Aiden being close friends, and living in the same neighborhood. Tristyn was cause of death was sharp force tramua by stabbing, however the weapon used hasn't been found. The state attorney's office confirmed Tristyn was stabbed more than once. The arrest report says that the deputies were able to get ahold of a security video that showed the two teens wakling on east Saddlestone Drive around 1:45 a.m. Then later showing just Aiden walking west around 3:27 a.m., and when later searching Fucci's home officers found clothes that tested postive with the presence of blood. Sheriff's also said Tristyn had been found with her clothes on and there was no indication that she had been sexually assaulted, despite rumors saying she had been.
Aiden Fucci was charged with 2nd degree murder, and is only facing 7 years. Fucci also posted on his snapchat "Hey guys has inybody seen Tristyn lately" while in the back of a squad car. Fucci appeared in court on Tuesday morning, and the judge order him to remain in custody for 21 days or until further order of the court. So far, the state attorney's office has yet to determine whether Fucci will be tried as an adult or not.

Even though he is a teen he should be charged as an adult because what he did was really wrong. I think he did rape her because he seemed shady and sneaky, I think Tristyn should've stayed out and knew better not to go out at 1:15 in the morning when its still dark out. I mean its not her fault because she didn't know that Fucci was like that.
Despite him not being a legal adult I feel he should still be charged as one because he did kill someone. Murder should not be taken lighter just because you arent an adult in the court rooms eyes. A person should be heled to their actions no matter what age. Especially considering the grotesqueness of the case.
Although he is not an adult Fucci still murdered Tristyn. I think he should be charged as an adult because, murder is still murder, no matter how young someone is. Honestly, I would not be surprised if they found out that he sexually assaulted her, because he killed her, so he could have done other things with her as well.
I think that he he should be charge as adult because what him did is awful and he needs way more time then just 7 years and i think if he is charged as adult he will get more time. I think she was sex assulated because why would he kill her if they were just walking around i think he did somthing to her and she said somthing and so he killed her.
Although he is only 14 I think the kid should serve time as an adult for a very long time. He knew exactly what he was doing and should do time for it. He probably sexually asalted her then killed her after that, a 14 year old knows better then to do that. He needs to serve time as an adult!
I agree a 14 year old boy knows way better and that he knows what he is getting into. I think he secually asalted her then she said somthing like imma tell my parents then he like will if You tell them i get into trouble and thats why he killed her thats what i think.
I dont think that he should be charged as an adult since he is only 14 but he shoul dhave to serve his time. Him being so young leads me to belevie that he could have had come unknown mental disorder and that could have been some of the reasoning fro his actions considering that people siad they were friends. I do think that is is possible that he sexually assulted her but there is no way to know for sure without him saying that it happend.
I think that since he is only 14, he shouldn't be tried as an adult. I think he needs to serve his time, but 14 is far to young to be considered an adult. Him being this young leads me to believe that a mental disorder did this to him, especially since people claimed they were friends. It is very possible that he sexually assulted her, but we can't be sure without him actually telling us.
I think he should be charged as an adult. What he did was not okay and deserve to spend more than 7 years for what he did. Hes very immature and is so messed up for doing that and thinking hes funny. Thats so wrong and disgusting. I wouldn't be suprised if he did sexually assulated her. I think he definitely needs to be try as an adult though because he knows exatly what he did and needs to be punished for it.
I think he should be charged as an adult. He is old enough to know what happen when someone kills another person. I would not be surprised if it came out that he sexually assulated her. And obviously if the times we are in now everyone knows what happens to men to get called out for that so he knew what would happen if he did these actions.
