A 25 year old man jumped a fence into a United water plant in New Jersey somehow made his way into a water pipe early morning Friday and got stuck for several hours. Workers arrived at the Manalapan facility Friday morning and heard screams from the trespasser coming from an area that holds a storage tank. Police Captain Mike Fountain thinks the man left his house around 2:30 a.m. wearing only a jacket and shorts. The Mayor of Manalapan says the man was stuck in a part of the pipe known as the "elbow" because it bends. Sections of the pipe were removed to get him out and heat was pumped in. He was freed from the pipe about 11 a.m, making him stay in the pipes for a total of approximately 9 hours. The water was not affected.
What do you think about this? Why would the man break into a Water plant in the first place? What do you think his goal would be?

He obviously did not think the through, he should not have tried to break in and i think he may have learned his lesson not to break in to things.
Maybe he wanted to poison the water or he was a disgruntled ex-employee.
Maybe that he was on a type of drug or something that would make him do that. Maybe he wanted to vandalize the plant?
My guess is that he was on some kinda of medication or drug
It's really weird that he broke into a water plant in the first place. It would be so weird to be stuck in a water pipe... I would freak out! I can't think of a reason to why he would break in there..?
He might want to steal some metals or something. Really anything he could sell for money.
This is a act of complete stupidity. He was probably cracked out on some kind of drugs because if he wanted to ruin the water the cops would have found chemicals on him
That is a big question I'm sure no matter what his motives certainly couldn't have been good! I'm sure for being stuck in there that long he will be hospitalized and then the police will get further information on this but if I had to take a wild guess I would say he was trying to contaminate it somehow for criminal purposes.
I would say that something is wrong with him because I don't know why anyone would want to go into a water pipe, your just setting yourself up for a lonely and dumb death. He's lucky somebody heard him and came to help him.
