Tree loss impacts U.S. citizens more than the usual human relizes. The U.S. Forest Service found that 36 million trees were lost annually from urban and rural communities. This was over a five year period. Tree loss can have a huge impact on the planet, and the impact will not be in a good way. David Nowak, a U.S. Forest Service scientist, stated, “Cities will become warmer, more polluted and generally more unhealthy for inhabitants.”

Overall, tree loss can have a big impact right now and even in the future. I do not think the normal U.S. citizen realizes how big of an impact it can have on the planet.
