In India a 23 car train is derailed and kills over 100 people. out of the 23 cars 14 are on its side. It sends 150 people to the hospital and 40 are seriously injured. Detectives do not know what caused the train to derail at this point but they keep detecting. Rail way minister Suresh Prabhu told the reports that a high level team will investigate the scene. This rail system is one of the largest in India, employing 1.3 million. More than 23 million passengers ride the trains every day. One of the survivors says that he was sleeping around 3 a.m. and suddenly there was a massive jerk. He also said that their heads collided with the roof of the train.

I think that it is very sad and horrifying. I would be scared to ride on a train after hearing about that. I feel that they should figure out what the problem was or the company is going to lose a lot of customers and money. I think that the tracks were getting to warn down or they were poorly built.

I feel that this situation is very sad, and I feel bad that these people have to go through that. Its nothing i would want to experience, considering it could kill me. It could of been a mistake or it could of been on purpose.
I think that a derailment is extremely tragic and very costly. There is probably a significant amount of damage and a ton of families that are very negatively affected by this occurrence.
I think that things like this happen not often and bring a lot of tragedy to the families and community. Just about anything could have caused this such as the train was going to fast or that the tracks were getting loose, etc.

The train/rail company should find out what happened to the train and why it derailed because the families are probably wondering how and why.
I think that this will raise several questions about safety and could cause a lot of delays for transportation. i t really could be anything, i just hope that it wasn't anything with the rails or otherwise that could take weeks to rebuild.

I think that it is sad that people were hurt in this train derailment. I think that maybe there was a problem at the train control system.
