NBA player Trae Young drilled a deep three in the third quarter agains the Bulls and proceedes to stare down Kris Dunn with his hands on his hips which drew a technical and an ejection. Earlier in the game the two were saying things to each other and stuff was said between the two. Trae Young continued to explain that he "try's to" play with emotion, passion, effort, and a little bit of flair. Young finished with 18 points and 5 assists. The game went into quadruple-overtime and the Bulls lost.
1. Do you think it was fair to eject him?
2. Do you think that a stare down is inappropriate in the NBA?

It don't think it was fair to eject him. It's not like it was poor sportmanship, he was just looking at him and talking to him, which is normal. A staredown isn't inappropriate in the NBA, it's something that probably happens all the time and the press just doesn't see it or they don't acknowledge it.
I dont think that it was fair to eject him from the game. There was no sign of poor shortsmanship, just two men teasing each other. People see a lot of that in the NBA. No, this stare down was not inappropriate. Like I said, stuff like that always happens.
Yes, I think he should be ejected because it was poor sportsmanship.
Yes, it is inappropriate because it is not good sportsmanship.
I kinda disagree with you on this because this happens in all sports and any other player like Lebron he wouldnt be ejected for staring somedown because hes at the top. Its poor sportsmanship and was very childish but he didnt deserve to be ejected.
He didn't do anything to harm him so I don't think its fair that they ejected him, all he was doing was staring which came off chilidish maybe so i'm not sure. Not really maybe slightly because like I said it's childish, but everyone stares so it's not like it was something horrible.
I agree that nothing harmful was done in this situation so it probably was not fair to eject him, but we also don't know what was being said between the players throughout the game because sometimes certain refs will eject players for small things if there has been something else going on in the game.
I agree with you that nothing harmful was done just some eye contact and thats not going to kill anyone. But yeah something else couldve started this act sooner and lead on to this and the ref might have gotten tire of it and was going to eject him.
In real life people stare at other people all the time. I think its just childish. It was definitly not fair that they ejected him. Staring is doing no harm, if he was saying someting or doing something inapropriate then thats a a better reason to eject him.
1) I don't really know. I'm not sure. I really think that it probably was a little overboard. I don't really think that he should have been ejected. I think that it probably wasn't the right thing to do.
2) Maybe. It is not good sportsmanship. I think that maybe an aplogy would be good. It shouldn't have happened in the first place. I think that after this he will know better and not do it again.
I also agree that it was kind of a little overboard on the call. But it it just kept happening the ref probably got tired of it and said it was time for it to stop. Yes it wasnt very sportsman like and he might need to apologise and not do it anymore cause he shouldve learned from it.
