The score was 24-30 with the Detroit Lions trailing the Dallas Cowboys. The lions were on the Dallas 1 yard line. Everybody in the stadium thought that Matthew Stafford was going to spike the ball to get another play off. But instead he leaped over the Linemen with his arms extended and scored. That tied it at 30-30, and the PAT gave them the win at 31-30.
Another highlight of the game was Calvin Johnson aka (Megatron), coming only 7 yards shy of Flipper Anderson’s 336 yard record breaking game in 1989. The player with the third most receiving yards in one game in NFL history is Stephone Paige with 309.
All I can say is that I wish that I have Stafford and Johnson on my fantasy football team, because I would have won. I will also say that I wish I would have watched this game, and not only the highlights. What do you guys think about the cowboys coming so close to winning again, but barely getting beat in the end?

A very depressing story! You only replied one time.
This is just a trend that all of us need to get used to. It has been happening for awhile now, so let's just continue to watch the Cowboys lose. They do play the 1-6 vikings this Sunday, so they might have a small chance of getting the W.
that was a little to close for the cowboys because if they some how missed then they could have lost this entire game. if I watched it I would have still shouted because the play was so awesome.
This is amazing! Though, I don't follow either team so to me it doesn't matter who won.
I think that is funny for something like that to happen in such a close game like this was. That would be pretty cool to break a record for something like that with all those receiving yards.
It seems like something bad always happens to the Cowboys at the end of the game. That's amazing that Calvin Johnson had that many yards. If they would have thrown 1 more first down to him he could have gotten the record. The Cowboys need to be more prepared it seems for someone to do a trick play at the end of the game.
Haha... I have Stafford on my Fantasy Football Team... GO DETROIT!!!!!!
Lucky, I'm a fan of the Chiefs (8 and 0). I saw this game I was amazed that Detroit won. I think Calvin Johnson is a great wide receiver, so I'm not surprised that he almost broke the record. I wish Dallas would have won though.
it's no wonder that Detroit won, Dallas let Calvin Johnson devastate them by getting the second most receiving yards in a single game. If that ever happens again It would be embarrassing to that team if a receiver got that many yards, and they still lost.
My dad is a cowboy fan so I watched the game (or listened to him shouting). I wish the cowboy's had won, but its pretty cool that Megatron almost beat an NFL record.
