Before being beheaded the hostages that have been captured by ISIS are being tortured. Hostages were threatened to be executed and then tortured, and then starved before execution. Do you think the countries of theses hostages should pay the ransoms or keep letting people be executed? why or why not???

Again, you didn't reply and your summary is brief. Good topic again though!
I dont think it will stop even if they do pay ransom
Even if they do they'll still do it no matter what so I think they just need to be stopped and that the only solution. But if it means saving lives maybe they should consider it.
I don't think that they should pay the ransoms because then ISIS would get exactly what they want is for more power because they will think that all the countries are giving in to them.
If we offer them what they want, then they think they can do anything. If we connsede to them the have the idea that they can do anything they want without consequences.
I know this stuff happens often, but torturing these people and eventually cutting off their heads for doing something wrong is wrong of us too. I know the people committing the crime may think they are getting off easy if we don't torture them, but then at least just keep them locked up forever. But don't torture them no matter how bad the crime. I think they shouldn't because they are just going to buy more weapons with that money.
If the ransom was paid then all the terrorist would start kidnapping people. If we pay the ransom then we are giving them money to buy more guns.
I think even if the ransom was paid, ISIS probably isn't a very reliable source to release hostages. If anything, try to send a rescue group or something to save the hostages, they maybe even know something about ISIS. That is also a reason why ISIS probably wouldn't release the hostages for ransoms.
I don't know that's kind of a hard question I mean for some things that people do should have a bad penalty but I don't think it should be easy to be able to get someone executed.
