A british teen went to the doctor thinking that the gain in her mouth was from her wisdom teeth. 18-year-old Nadia Hobbs was massaging her jaw, trying to soothe the pain, but to only find a lump. After an examination, the teen was diagnosed with an aggressive pediatric cancer. Because of the aggressive nature of the cancer, Hobbs had to undergo several weeks of chemotherapy to try to reduce the size of the tumor. Next she will have to undergo 6 weeks of radiotherapy.

Super job Ellen!!
I would be in shock and I would feel so bad. Is I were a parent I would be so scared for the life of my daughter and I would try to make everything to safe her. My grandma died because cancer and it was really sad.
I would be surprised, and shocked. I would be confused because why wouldn't I have noticed this before. Would be kind of scary.
I would be so scared and shocked. I would cry for a long time to start off with. I would be super surprised that something like this could ever happen. It has not been in my family that I know of.
I would probably freak out, but try to stay calm so that I may better access the information. If I would a parent I would obviously be scared but try to get the best care for my child.
If I were her, I would be very shocked. When you think of cancer, you don't normally connect it to a toothache. If I were a parent I would be just as shocked too.
I agree with you, I would be really shocked too. You don't really think of cancer in your mouth which could have made this situation so much worse if she hadn't gone to the doctor. If this were your child, how would you approach this difficult situation?
I would first be upset that this is happening to me but then glad that it was found early on. I would feel the exact same way as a parent. To my knowledge of my family history cancer has not played a role in it
It is amazing that cancer hasn't affected your family! It is very common these days which is really concerning. If your child were to be diagnosed, how would you approach the situation?
This is terrible, I would have a hard time believing that this is actually happening. I would be really sad and probably depressed. If I was the parent, I would feel even worse knowing that my child is going through something so hard and I can't do anything to stop it. No one in my family has had cancer, but I know poeple who have had it and it seems so sad. I feel bad for people who have to go through it and I wish i could make it go away so no one has to.
