"Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker was killed in a car crash, along with professional driver Roger Rodas.
During Walker's charity event, Reach Out Worldwide, a charity raising money for the devastated people in the Philippines, Walker and Rodas left in Walker's 2005 red Porsche Carrera GT, a car that can go over 240 mph.
The crash occurred just a few blocks away from the from the charity event. They smashed into a tree and a light pole, breaking the light pole in two. A chunk of the car flew into a nearby building, breaking a window. The car engulfed in flames and both passengers were named DOA by the Sheriff's deputies.
The last person to see them before they drove off was Jim Torp.
"'Hey, I'll be right back in 5 minutes.' Those are the last words I heard," Torp told ABC News.
I believe this is a tragic event, but ironic. Like so many stunts in his movies, where high speed chases and fiery trains came into play, this man lost his life had the wheel of a car. I hope his daughter and wife are okay and mourn for him. He will be dearly missed by many.
The driver was a professional racecar driver. What do you think could've caused him to crash? Do you suspect foul play?

Good topic and well done!
I think they were just screwing around and he lost control of the car. I don't really think he would do it on purpose.
I don't think their was anything wrong. It was just an accident. Bad things happen to good people which is not fair. They could of been going to fast knowing that these two drivers would be known to drive like that.
This is so sad! He will be greatly missed by many! I don't think it was foul play at all I think the driver just may have lost control of the vehicle
I definitely think high speed were one of the factors in this crash. Maybe they lost control of the car or were distracted, but it is all just so hard to believe because these guys were trained drivers. They should have been able to tell if they were going to much over the limit. It is impossible to know unless you were there. Overall it is just a sad story that tends to happen to much today.
I think it was just an accident. There has been a lot of talk around the next movie, which they were making when he died. I also think it was definitely sad and ironic he died this way. At least he died doing what he loves.
I have no idea but it is weird how he is a pro at driving and then he dies in a car wreck.
This is a little odd because he they were both really good drivers, but it was also a really fast car and could have easily gotten out of control. I don't know if foul play was involved there is a chance that there was and if there was i hope that that person is caught and taken in.
Even the best people can make mistakes.
It is so ironic he died in a car crash. I think that there must be foul play because how would someone that drives cars for a living could loose control of a car.
