Tom Brady's Suspension Uplifted?

Tom Brady Is the Quarterback for the Patriots, the Super Bowl champs this year, was said to be a part of the Deflate-gate scandal. The NFL accused Brady of knowing that the balls they were playing with were inflated below the NFL ruling level, so it was much easier to throw and for his teammates to catch. On Thursday morning a judge had uplifted Brady's suspension, saying he found many of the things Brady was accused, were legal. The judge also stated that the NFL never gave Brady notice that he could be suspended, they didn't provide him the chance to talk to an NFL investigator, and he was not able to get equal access to the investigation files.

If you were the Judge, based on all of the information do you think the ruling was fair? If so, why? If not, why?

  • Good job but you only replied once.

  • I think that Brady should have been suspended, because he had to cheat just to have a better chance at winning. Brady said he had nothing to do with it, but is that why he destroyed his phone before it could be taken for evidence?

  • I think that he should have been able to tell his side of the story. It's unfair to be accused of something when you don't get a say.

  • I don't think it was because ti was a better win for there team and they pretty much cheated just to win the game. I think he should just be kicked off or whoever handles the ball she make sure there supposed to be the right weight.

  • I can't believe Brady is still fighting this, it would have been much easier to bite the bullet and wait the suspension out, avoid the media, and then get back on the field. It certainly would have improved his public image. But he is and will/always be right and he had to get his own way, and fought the suspension till the very end. It's ridiculous that the judge lifted the suspension, and I believe it has partly to do with his name and reputation.

  • I think he deserves a bigger punishment..... he has been in the NFL for how many years, it is almost guaranteed he knew what the consequences could be, he just thought that he would never get caught.

  • You don't just break your phone for no reason.. I think he knew the whole time and he deserves a bigger punishment. Because cheating isn't right especially when you're getting paid tons of money for doing what you do.

  • I also think that all the attention is on him and not other people who were part of it, but Brady did break his phone so there was no evidence so i think he was in on the whole thing.

  • No, he couldnt be the only one that knew if he did. he needs rights to talk to the press and say what he needs to say instead of not letting him.

  • I personally don't think that the ruling is fair, He may have had no idea that the balls were deflated.
