15 month old Asher's mother had sent in a picture for a toddler modeling add for a picture company called Osh Kash B'gosh. A couple months passed and the mother had not heard anything from anyone about her submission, after e-mailing the company that she had gone through to submit the photos, the replied with, "We aren't looking for children with special needs." Upon hearing this the mother went straight to the Osh Kash B'gosh CEO who when he had heard this was outraged and after looking at the photos first hand he agreed that the child was a perfect candidate for the modeling job stating "there aren't enough children with disabilities that have the opportunity to do something like this."

1. Do you feel that what the mother going to the CEO of this company was justified, why or why not?
2. Do you feel that the CEO decided to give this gig to the child just because he had disabilities or just because the kid is fricken adorable?
I feel that what the mother did was not excessive, I don't blame her. If my child was already being discriminated because of a disability before he was even 2 I would have acted in the same manner. And whether or not the CEO did say yes to allowing this kid to just because of the fact that he has downs, doesn't really mater its more the fact that its a good thing this kid got the gig and is a good sign that it doesn't mater who you are or how old you are you can always do great things.

This is a great story choice but you didn't reply to any comments. That is worth 20 points. You also didn't link to your story.
I think that the mother was completely correct in what she did because the company directly discriminated against her son because of his disabilities. He wasn't denied because he couldn't model, but because he has special needs. I think the CEO made the child an official model because of the backlash the company would receive if he denied the mother and her adorable son again.
Yes because its not right that people with special needs can't do the same thing other children can do, when its just a photo contest its a little ridiculous. I don't think so if your company did something wrong wouldn't you want to fix your company mistake fairly?
I think that she was very courageous by going to the CEO and I think that she was justified. I think she knows that her kid has a hard life ahead of him for something he can't control. All it is is that he is extra happy and we need that in this world. I think he will be a blessing. I don't know if the CEO just gave him the gig just because he has special needs. I feel like that was a very large possibility but there is also the other hand where is he so precious. I think that he will work it just as good as anyone can and it will encourage people that you can overcome the hardships in life.
I think she made the right action because everyone deserves a chance to shine! No, I don't think he made that decision based off of the boy's disabilities. This child being the model gives a chance to show everyone to never give up and push for what you believe in. This is a great story!
I am happy that the mother stood up for her child and said something so it would be justified. I think that the company thought he was adorable. They also didn't want to have bad news about the company I am sure, and how could you say no?:)
This is a heartwarming story! I think that the mother going to the CEO was a justified action because she was simply standing up for her child and for what is right. I feel that the CEO gave this modeling job to the child not only because he is adorable (and I love his outfit), but also because of how he and his family had been treated and to show that the company does not discriminate against anyone!
I think that the mother going to the CEO was justified, because the worker's reason not to accept the kid as a model was not only unfair very unfair, but also something that probably ought to be reported. I think the CEO accepted the kid partially because he has that disability and partially because that kid is really adorable! Seriously, he's one of the cutest toddlers I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot. :)
1. I think what she did was completely understandable
2. I would say that the child is absolutely adorable and no doubt about it, deserved this opportunity just as much as any other kid.
Yes of course it was justified, that is discrimination and is frowned upon in all companies and corporations. This child should be able to model because he is so freaking cute and adorable and i just wanna give him a big hug. I dont believe that the CEO gave the gig to the child just because he has a disorder but because the child should be a model.
