A Utah family has been wondering for awhile where the money has gone that they have been saving for awhile. The parents had been saving over $1,000 worth of money to pay back a relative for buying University of Utah football season tickets. They have been keeping the money that they have been saving in a filing cabinet with an envelope. They ended up taking the envelope out of the file cabinet and set it on the table so that they could remember to give it to their relatives. The envelope soon disappeared. They then searched the whole house and looked in the shredder and found the money all shredded up. Later on they realised that their 2 year old son loved using the shredder under adult supervision, and soon found out that it was their son that shredded the money. They were happy to find the money, but sad that the money went to waste.
What would you do if you couldn't find the money that you have been saving?
I would do everything I can to figure out where the money went. I would look all over the house and follow my tracks of what I all did. I would be very scared if I couldn't find the money.
What would you do if somebody shredded your money?
I would be very mad. I wouldn't know what to think because I would be very scared exspecially if I was saving all that money for a different reason that wouldv'e helped out my family.

Great job Haley!
I'd probably freak out if I lost that type of money, especially if I was gonna use it to pay back a family member. I can't imagine how anxious the parents felt and how angry they felt whenn they found out their toddler shreaded the money.
If I couldn't find the money I had been saving, I would be really scared and worried. I'd trace back my steps, and search around the house. If soomeone shredded my money, I would be very angry especially if I had been saving it up. Also because it was a lot of money that was shredded.
1) Yes I agree I wouldn't know what to do and would probably start freaking out I would obviously ask the kid and make sure that he learns his lesson.
2)I would be very and wouldn't even think to look in the shreder if it did go missing and then once I saw it I would be sad because it takes awhile to save up that much while paying for all other living expenses.
I would look all over the place and keep looking until i found it. I would be very unhappy but at the same time think it was funny if it was my little baby. This is why you shouldn't leave it in a place where little kids can reach it. Always keep the stuff put up away from them.
I would be very confused and worried. I would go over all the places I had it and search the entire house. If I coudln't find the money it would really make me mad because that is a lot of money. I would be very mad about the sredded money, but you can't just leave 1,000 on the counter. The 2 year old doesn't know what it is, so he had no idea what he was doing was bad.
I would probably flip tables like they are pillows and freak out. I would be so mad I would make them pay me back and if they couldnt aford to id make them get to work and start saveing and i wouldn't give up till I had my money.
i would start to go crazy that i couldnt find it and start thinking what if i put it in the bank or in the safe or in a really sucure place i would be really mad and would want to know who and how they got it
I would try to retrace my steps and find out where I last left it or who I may have given it to. I wouldnt really kno how to respind with having that much money shredded by someone so young.
If I couldn't find some of my money, especially $1,000, I would search everywhere for it and do everything I could to find it in one piece. If I found out someone shredded it, I'm not exactly sure what I would do, it depends on who shredded it. Like, if it was my brother or sister, I would be really angry but a baby or toddler not so much.
