Todd Palin in intensive care after snowmobile accident.

Sarah Palin's husband Todd Palin was in a snowmobile accident sunday night, and is now is in intensive care. Sarah( the wife) is a former alaska governor and republican, she gave an update on his care early Tuesday on Facebook.  This is her statues-

“Todd Palin is in intensive care at an Alaskan hospital with injuries including multiple broken and fractured ribs, broken shoulder blade, broken clavicle, knee/leg injuries; and a collapsed lung,” Palin wrote. “He is presently back in surgery to repair multiple fractures. Thank you for your prayers for a speedy recovery. We, as his wife and children, appreciate your respect for our privacy during this time. Knowing Todd, once he’s cognizant, he’ll probably ask docs to duct tape him up and he’ll call it good. He’s tough.”

In 2008, the paper says that he was in another snowmobile accident, when his "snow machine" hit a barrel obscured in snow during a race. He was thrown 70 feet from the snowmobile and broke his arm. Todd has been through a lot and has done many things but at this time I don't think that he has good luck on these machines.

  1.  Do you think that he should quit riding snow mobiles? and why? \
  2.  After all the bones he has broke, how do you think the wife feels about him going out?

My opinion:

  • I think that he should take it slow before he gets back on a snowmobile but if it's what he loves to do then he shouldn't stop! one bad time shouldn't stop you from what you like to do.
  • The wife probably feels like he shouldn't get back on the snowmobile cause she is concerning about this health and his future

  • Great job!

  • He shouldn't quit doing something that he loves to do. It's his choice to make. I think that his wife feels like he shouldn't go back to the snowmobile because of how many injuries he's gotten.

  • I think he has had too many accidents on a snow mobile to get back on one. I think if this is something he loves, he should be more cautious when he gets on one. If my husband broke that many bones and has been through that many accidents with a snow mobile, I would talk to him and hope that he would listen to me when I told him not to get on one because they are very dangerous.

  • I don't think that Todd should quit riding if it's something that he enjoys to do. I'm guessing Sarah isn't very happy about him riding the snowmobile because of all the injuries that he has obtained.

  • He definitely should have slowed down, and been more careful. If I was his wife, I would be really worried about him going out-he should stop and take it easy for a while.

    • after two times i feel like he should get the hit and this time he broke more bones than he did last time

  • I think he should stop riding it and yet its be maybe a fun thing to ride so when he does he wears a helmet and gear to keep him safe. I feel his wife would be more safer and concerned and have him not do that and if she does she better be prepared to take him to the hospital.

    • wear gear is really important in riding a snowmobile it is a really big piece of equipment to be riding, and i agree she needs to be ready for anything

  • He should at least take it easy so not to make his current injuries worse.

His wife probably thinks he got really lucky which he did and she's probably it will be worse next time.

    • This must be shocking to the wife since he broke even more bones this last crash
