The historic boat The Titanic is making it’s come back. In 2022 or 2021 the new replica of The Titanic should be ready to set sail. Clive Palmer, an Australian businessman had stated in September this year that The Titanic will be making its return and that this time the boat will really be indestructible. Technically this should be called The Titanic IIII because the original Titanic had two twin boats named Olympic and The Britannic. Olympic wasn’t actually built to set sail but The Britannic was and it sunk just like the original. The idea of this replica was first thought of in 2012 but after a dispute with the Chinese government it was put to a stop in 2015. However we now have the money and are able to build the ship. The ship is currently in China where it is being built. The boat will set start out in China, then to Dubai, and lastly England. Though this ship is built as a replica a few things have been changed. For instance it can hold more people than the original. The new ship can hold 2,400 passengers plus a 900 person crew. The new boat is thirteen feet wider than the original to increase stability. Not to mention the new boat is equipped with updated navigation features and special precautions.

I wouldn't go on the new Titanic, because personally I don't like boats or sailing. I think it's a good idea, because it gives people a chance to know what the boat really looks like because the original sunk. I think people wanted to create a replica of the Titanic, because it's something that has been part of history. People wanted to make it a better system to make it last as long as possible.
I agree with you that the idea was thought of for purposes of learning or because since it was a major part in history that people just wanted to understand and know what it feels like to be there.
Yes, being apart of that would be historical, it would defeintly be a once and a lifetime oppurtuneity and thats something i sure would take advantege of. I think its a could and bad thing, I dont think the should call it the Titanic because what happend was historical and we should try and cover it up. I feel like someone thought that nothing was really acomplished and was just like "lets finish was our past started".

I couldn't agree with you more. I really think that this is a great idea. It allows people to experience the feel of a very iconic part of history. It is very well known, which I think makes it so incredibly interesting. I personally would ride on the boat so I could just get a good feel. Plus, I really love boats and riding on them. So again, I just think this is so cool.
I agree, with all the new technology it would be cool, but also if there trying to make it like the other one would they really want all that new technology? People might want it to look like the first one.

If I had the chance I would for sure go on the new Titanic. I wouldn't be scared of it sinking like the original because of all the new techology there is today. It was such a monumental event in our history, so they are trying to make light of it by creating a replica.
I'm glad you're not fearfull to go on the Titanic. The fact that we can trust today's technology is very helpful.
