Sunday April, 15 marks 100 years since the tragic shipwreck that took hundreds of lives. Many things have been on tv and news stations about this historical event. Even cruise ships are set sail to take the path of the Titantic. Several people are also visiting the grave site that around 200 bodies were buried.
If it wasn't for the movie, I don't think many people would know much about it. I for one would be one of those people. It is definitely a good movie even though it's so long.
Do you think they publicized this too much? I think it is needed to let people have the chance to visit all these things that happened in the past. Especially for people whose loved ones were on that ship.

I've certainly seen my share of documentaries on tv for the 100th anniversary. I didn't get to see the Leo Dicap and Kate Winslet version, which is the best interpretation in my opinion, but oh well. It is really sad remembering all that those passengers went through and how little survivors there were out of all that were on the ship.
I liked the movies and it was a part of history so no they don't publicize it to much. it lets people know that it happened.
I think it's cool that they've made a big deal out of the 100th Anniversary. It's a pretty big part of our history, I'd say. I haven't seen the whole movie all the way through, but I really want to see it in 3-D which they made for the 100th Anniversary!
