Her name is Melinda and she was born 24 weeks early weighing 9 1/2 ounces. She is one of the 3rd smallest babies in the world, and the 2nd smallest in the U.S. She is now 4 1/2 pounds and able to go home from the hospital.
I can't believe she lived, 24 weeks that really premature.
Any thoughts?

If this girl get in the world record books at least she can brag we she gets older that her birth was famous and paid off. That was a tiny baby 9 1/2 ounces wow that's like less than a can of pop weights. Her mom had to be happy to hold her for the first time. That must have been on nerves doctor delivering the baby.
That's crazy. Human medical knowlegde is crazy. I mean that baby could never have lived if it weren't for everything the doctors know and stuff. I'm glad she lived, losing a baby is a terrible thing.
That is crazy! My older sister is two months premature and I thought that was alot, I bet her whole family is feeling so thankful that she is alive and is able to go home!
