Tiktok is an app where people make many different types of videos to entertain people that watch. Tiktok is a very used app for everyone in this world. everyone uses it and there are many famous people on tiktok. It was called musically before it was renamed to tiktok. its been around for many years. A couple years ago Donald Trump tried to ban tiktok in America because the Chinese were spying on us. Donald trump could not finalize the ban on tiktok and everyone kept on using it. Tiktok is now under another cercomstance of getting banned again. Joe Biden wants to either buy out the Chinese company or put a ban on this app because of national security concerns.
If America does buy out the company everyone will be using it without anyone supposedly spying on us. If Biden does ban the app we will never see tiktok again on anyones phone because of the ban. Biden thinks hes protecting us from the chinese when all anyones doing is just watching short funny videos.
In my opinion I don't think we should ban tiktok. I don't think the chinese are spying on us through tiktok. I think if we ban tiktok a lot of people will be mad and upset.

I think the Chinese would spy on us because the United States and China dont really get along and China also wants to spy on us. Ive had tiktok for probably two years and I probably watch it a hour a day at most, I think that when they ask for for your permission because just agree and dont actually read it and there is something in there.
I disagree if they wanted to spy on us theyd be doing a lot more like the balloon in the sky.
I think the chinese is not spying on us. I find this idea just ridiclous. Why would the chinese want to spy on little children ? I love tiktok and i would be pretty upset if tiktok got banned. I use tiktok everyday probally 2-3 hours combined a day. DO NOT BAN TIKTOK.

I don't know if the Chinese are spying through TikTok because I have no idea how that could work and I don't know that much about technology. Personally, I use TikTok ocassionally. I think that many people would get upset and mad when TikTok gets banned.
I don’t think that TikTok should be banned because a lot of people on the app have made making videos of their careers and that's how a lot of people make their money. I also think that there is no way that china is spying on us through TikTok. I just don’t see why they would nothing on the platform has anything to do with an upcoming threat of war. I do use TikTok I use it for my entertainment when I am bored and have nothing to do. I would say that I don’t spend as much time on it as I did when I first started using it, but I do spend probably up to 30 minutes a day on it when I get the chance.
I think that the Chinese are not spying on us through tiktok. I don't think that the Chinese are spying because it wouldn't make sense to spy on random American lives. Also because there is not enough evidence supporting that they are spying. I personally use tiktok ocassionally.

If the Chinese were spying of us through tiktok, they would be taking data on app use, age and other basic information about the U.S population. I rarely use tiktok, because it is very addictive with it's algorithms. I only use it for 20-30 minutes at a time, this is not every day.
