  • It is weird that all of these songs are so old. Because it just seems so recent that we were all growing up (even though we still are) and we were listening to all of these songs! Also 11 American states ban gay marriges in November of 2004.

  • Some popular movies were: The Aviator, Collateral, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Friday Night Lights, The Incredibles, Kinsey, Maria Full of Grace, Million Dollar Baby, Sideways, Spiderman 2.

  • This is the year of super bowl 38 where the favorite New England Patriots beat the Carolina Panthers 32 to 29. The MVP of the game was Tom Brady. The halftime show had Nelly, Justin Timberlake, Kid Rock, and others. Cost of a 30 second commercial was 2.2 million U.S. dollars.

  • Eli Manning was the first pick in the NFL Draft. Also, the Red Soxs win the World Series. This year was a leap year, an Olympic year and a great year.

  • The Olympics were in Athens, Greece. The United States won 35 gold medals, the most, and 39 silver medals, also the most.

  • Ronald Reagan died at the age of 93 years old, and George W. Bush was re-elected for a second term as President.
