Police, Amulance, and Fire Department vehicles now may have a new feature to some; being able to vibrate your car. This new siren system, is very effective because most cars made are now trying to keep very little sound from the outside of your car able to make it's way into it. Often, you might be too distracted by the radio in your car, or somthing els to realize there is a cop, ambulance, or fire truck near you. With the newer siren, police and other important vehicles send off a vibration to your car and a low frequency sound wave. Basically it should make your car vibrate like a bass speaker to catch your attention and alert you to pull over or get out of the way.

That is so awesome. But, what if you have basses in your car and your car already vibrates, then when their sirens go off we still wouldnt notice....

wow thats pretty cool. im sure there are a lot of people that get distracted by music and other things.

Well if you've got a big enough speaker in your car anyways or you had your radio's volume up really loud you still wouldn't be able to feel the vibrations or hear the sirens. Eventually people always look out (or at least they should) their rear/sideview mirrors so they would be able to see the cop. It just seems like a pointless investment to make and a waste of money in my opinion.

i thinks thats cool cause some people dont notice when a cop or ambulance are near and that they need to pull over.

hahaha that wouldnt help 4 me i already have subwoofers (bass speakers) so ya idk how its going to help 4 any one else wit subwoofers?

This could be a good idea..
but, i'm not real sure!
I think people need to be responsible when they are driving and being aware of cops/ambulance/fire trucks is a part of your responsibility while driving!
