In recent news a book came out called “The Outpost”. The book is based on a true story that happened back in October 3, 2009. The book is about how there where 53 American troops stationed at a remote outpost in Afghanistan. The outpost was located at the bottom of a ravine in a large area and the soldiers where stationed there for one year. About 45 minutes into the firefight the solders ran out of ammunition up against 400 Taliban insurgents. Look at the link below.
In my views this outpost was useless we were not needed anymore there anymore.

This sounds like a great book. What a useless place for an outpost though.
I think many people would like to read this book and it will be interesting, but when you are still at war with them you have to be careful about what you put in the book.
It's interesting how so many books about the war are coming out. I might get this, since it sounds like something I'd like. The outpost's placement was probably a bad idea though.
That sounds like a book I want to read. To read what happens at a outpost in Afghanistan and imagine what it looks like. A interesting idea, but some might not like the idea though.
This sounds like a great book, though i dont think the outpost was such a great idea.
That is awful that we would put our own people in such a lose-lose situation. I'm sure the book will be really great though. Probably a really interesting story!
