As we all know, the new president is Biden, and he has raised the price of gasoline to $ 3, but this has a reason. The main reason is the improvement of the environment, we currently live in a world that every day increases the consumption of both oil and the consumption of other substances that are not beneficial to the environment.
Why is this important? Currently the antarctic is in a deporable state, since it has more than 95% of melted sea ice, and there are only 20,000 polar bears in the world. Human beings tend to believe that we are the most important thing, and that as long as nothing happens to us we are fine, but no. There are many that we depend on, and we must take care of them because if we were left without them, there would begin the decline of the human species.

I think that it is necessary to raise the price, but not the $3. Gas prices are always fluxuating and so it makes sense that the price would go up. However, $3 is a lot and for the governement to allow and push for something like this doesn't seem fair. I generally think that they price is high, but I believe that with time and pressure from citizens it will go down eventually.
I don't think that you can blame the rise in gas prices just on the President, most of the time things are a lot more complicated than that. GAs companies are private companies and from what I know the president doesn't have that much power on the free market. But I don't know a lot about economy so I could be wrong. EVen if it was really Biden's decision I think it's time now to care and do something for the environment.
I really don't know how to feel about this because we do need to help the environment way more, but we also only have a limited amount of money that we need to then buy gas, food, and then also pay bills. Some kids do pay bills and or maybe some insurence, but I don't know how likely that is. Overall, I think that there are definitely pros and cons about the gas prices going up and could go either way.
I'm ok with the prices rising for environmental reasons. The price is the price and there is nothing you can do about it. I don't know if raising the price for the Antartic will change anything. Were still going to have massive amounts of CO2 rising in the air. People are going to get upset, but they have to deal with it. Democrats usually always increase taxes or gas prices so we should have seen something like this coming.
I do not think the change is necessary because everything was going fine before the pipeline got shut down. I don't like the gas prices because it costs me too much to fill up my car. I think it wasn't smart of Biden to shut down the pipeline because most people still use gas cars and not electric.
I have heard a lot about why the gas prices are so high. I heard it is because of the cancellation of the keystone pipeline, and because the supply was low but now it is higher because people are out of quarantine. I am not that happy that the gas prices are so high but if it helps the environment then I guess that is what we have to do.
I don’t think there is a reason for the gas price to go up to $3.00. The price was much more reasonable in April 2020. I think many people are mad with President Biden since the cost of gas has risen a lot since he has been in office. I also don’t know why he raised the price so much when many people are already struggling due to covid. I think that people will choose to travel less due to the significant rise in gas prices.
I feel that this was not a necessary change. I am not okay with the gas prices being high because it's hard to afford it. I feel that it should be back in the 2 dollar range because 3 dollars is just way too much and it's only going to keep on going up from here.
I am not sure if the this change was necessary. I understand that we are using more and more gasoline everyday, but under the Trump Administration, gas prices were low. Ever since Biden has been in office gas prices have continued to increase. I just do not understand why gas prices need to be so high.
